Split a double header last night. Lost 8-2 in our first game. Scored 2 in the first and then gave up 6 in the bottom of the first. Only got 3 hits all game. In the second game we were down 2-0 going into the bottom of the seventh. We managed 3 bunt singles, a hit by pitch, and a two run single to win 3-2. We discovered a weakness.

Discovering weaknesses sure can help, although sometimes they're not so fun. Oh my word, our first league game was horrible, we had a lot of "weaknesses"--new players, players not playing positions that they've played in previous years, unorganized. Since then, we've worked on those things at practice and now look a lot better (although we're 0-3 in the league...there are many great teams this year). There are still things we're working on (like the best places to put players who are somewhat our rookies...positions they're comfortable with, yet that will be the most useful). I'm thankful Christ helps to show us our weaknesses.
