I've read this book twice: the first time about 10 years ago, and the second time just a couple months ago. For some reason, this is one of the few books I can't seem to get in to. I don't know why. The Illiad is the same way. I'm on my second reading of that, as well. I'll probably read them both again in a few years or so, and maybe then will be the time. I don't know. Or, maybe it's because I didn't have the class of yours in which these books were discussed. :)
